Book a one-on-one session with a CTS teacher to catch up on missed classes or to learn at your own pace.
Private lessons are available for individuals, couples or groups:
- to learn the basics at your own pace;
- to catch up if you miss classes;
- to get comfortable dancing with your partner for your wedding or special event;
- to polish a routine;
- or to warm up the dance floor at a work function...
Our private lessons are offered by Cape Town Swing's teaching team, including our Senior Teachers, Teachers and Junior Teachers.

Please note that a pair of followers or a pair of leaders will be charged the Semi-Private lesson rate

Semi-Private lesson (3-6 people)
A reasonable balance of leaders and followers is expected
† per hour or part thereof – rates vary according to the teacher's experience and level of seniority.
Terms:
- The client is to provide the space. For a private lesson, a cleared home space of 3x3 metres suffices. Alternatively, a studio space can be hired at additional cost.
- Travel of more than 5 km from the teacher's home base will be charged at R5/km.
- Cancellations may be made up to 24 hours before the lesson, and rescheduled at no extra cost. If a client cancels a class less than 24 hours before a lesson, they will be charged for the class.
- Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
