While Lindy Hop is all the things—solo jazz, 6-count moves, charleston things—SWING OUTS are the defining element. You’re not a lindy hopper if you’re not swinging out… So let’s STFO!
- Part 1 (11-12:30 pm; improver-level) is open to anyone who has completed all four of our Beginner Blocks and wants to focus on improving their swing outs. This part of the workshop will focus on technical and connection fixes: the goal is for you to leave this session with your swing outs feeling great for your dance partners and looking great to bystanders.
- Part 2 (12:30-2 pm; intermediate-advanced level) is open to those who’ve been taking Intermediate classes for at least two years, whose swing outs are feeling and looking golden, and who need extra challenges and tricks to spice up their swing outs.
- This Part is invite-only (but if you join this, you are welcome to join Part 1 for free).
